So what’s it all about?

Well, my aim is to show you that everyone can draw, you don't need lots of fancy equiptment or Art School training or to spend hours on a piece. Drawing doesnt have to be complicated, this session will show you that you can draw any where, any time with anything.

Focussing on botanicals, this session will focus on looking at the lines and shapes in front of you and drawing what you see, keeping it simple with line work techniques. I will be sharing tips and techniques I use in my illustration work and we will be using materials I use on a daily basis. You will be encouraged to not overthink the process and draw what you think things should look like, but to draw what you actually see. By the end of the class you will have created a black & white line art botanical illustration to take home with you.

No experience necessary, all materials will be provided as well as a glass of wine/beer/soft drink. The vibe will be relaxed and friendly, come and have a drink and draw!
